So what is the story of how the creative journal came to be?

“Like many, I experienced a shift in 2020. The creative journal was birthed out of being made redundant post lock down. Imagine losing your job at a company you worked so hard to be at? Well you probably don’t have to imagine it, because this was the reality of most at the time. This project became a safe space to take back creative autonomy and embark on an intimate path of self discovery. The creative journal is far from a frivolous activity to help pass time; It is a pivotal guided experience that I created in hopes to redefine what creativity meant to me. Fast forward five years, we are here today. What once started as a personal project that I made every excuse not to share with the world, is now the perfect outlet for you to embark on a journey of intimate and honest journaling. The creative journal was made to help you define who you are as a creative, combat creative block and engage in the art of creating for yourself and seeing through your ideas.
